The medieval market takes place in Bacharach every two years on the second weekend in May.
We look forward to being able to hold another attractive four-halves market in the Bacharach Rhine facilities in 2025. Minstrels, jugglers and showmen will once again offer an extensive program at the market.
Traders and craftsmen are also present to demonstrate the various trades. At more than 50 booths merchants offer their goods for sale and food and drink is also well provided.
On both days:
- 11.00 a.m. Opening of the market stalls
- 11:30 am Parade through the medieval town
- 12:00 Official market opening
from 11:00 am:
- Colorful market hustle and bustle - merchants offer their goods for sale and medieval crafts are demonstrated.
- Numerous camps offer an insight into life in the Middle Ages
- Taverns, roasters and bakers provide food and drink
- Varied program for young and old
- Jugglers, minstrels and musicians
- Stories for young and old
- Show fights of the knights
- Big evening tavern game with fire show
- Children's program and much more

Admission prices:
Day ticket: 8 Euro
Weekend ticket: 12 Euro
Family day ticket (two adults with their own children) 20 euros
Children under sword size (1.20m): Free admission
