10th Hiking Experience Day "Rhine-Nahe Loop", Sunday 29 September 2019

More than twenty participants at the guided hike with district manager Paul Peitz and managing director Rhein-Nahe Touristik, Christian Kuhn at the beginning of the Hiking Experience Day 2019.

On Sunday, September 29, 2019, we offered our hiking guests for the tenth time a hiking day with a small but fine gastronomic offer at the three checkpoints along the Rhine-Nahe Loop. Hikers can experience an impressive landscape on the southern edge of the Bingen Forest on two circular hiking routes of 21 km in length along the complete loop or 11 km in length along the temporarily shortened route. Mayor Karl Thorn and Christian Kuhn (Rhein-Nahe Touristik) are pleased that the organizers have again organized a children's hiking day for our little hiking guests. At the start at the Rhein-Nahe hall in Weiler, they will receive a slip of paper with a children's quiz and four questions about the hiking day. At the checkpoint in Münster-Sarmsheim, all children will be rewarded with a small gift.

Program:
10.00 a.m.: Welcome and opening of the hiking day in front of the Rhein-Nahe hall in Weiler.
from 10.30 a.m.: Free guided tour for guests along the "Rhine-Nahe Loop" to Münster-Sarmsheim (6 km, approx.1.5 h) by forest district manager Paul Peitz.
All day: Harvest festival of the Weilerer Heimatfreunde (friends of local history)
